The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus (album) - The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus is the fifth release of Rolling Stones music by former manager Allen Klein's ABKCO Records (who usurped control of the band's Decca/London material in 1970) after the band's departure from Decca and Klein. Released in 1996, The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus is a live album that captures the taping of their ill-fated 1968 TV special, which was never aired.

The event comprised two concerts on a circus stage, and included acts such as Eric Clapton, The Who, John Lennon, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, and Jethro Tull.

The Dirty Mac - The Dirty Mac is the name for the grouping of rock musicians John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Mitch Mitchell at The Rolling Stones' ill-fated TV special entitled The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. Recorded on 11 December 1968, and containing many guest performers, The Dirty Mac recorded a rendition of The Beatles' "Yer Blues" and then went on the back up Yoko Ono and violinist Ivry Gitlis on a track called "Whole Lotta Yoko".
